Hello,

If I am going to purchase that offer, should I pay for that in whole. Is there any installment basis? So that in the middle of my course, when I feel like I am not absorbing the lessons I didn't have to regret 'bout my $99.

Hi Racheal,

I apologize for the late reply. The 99 USD payments that comes in over the weekend are usually processed on Mondays since they need to be done manually. I will be in contact again through email once we've processed your payment today.

Hey Paul, if you can't start your free trial right away, at least come over and join us in the students' own Forum now. Your sign-up over at forum.chinesepod.com is separate from your trial period using the service, so there's nothing to lose even if you're busy right now. While you're getting ready to jump in to the more formal learning, come over to the Forum in your odd moments and we can show you more ways of getting into, and out of, the well known "eye of the hurricane" than you've ever imagined! Get to know your class mates first, and we'll help you get your Chinese back on track and to make the best out of your free trial when you have time to begin it. If you want to, you'd be very welcome.

Hi Rachael,

We will try to send you one again now! Sometimes Paypal does change the language used in their emails without our knowledge. If there is further problems, just email us chinesepod [at] gmail.com

So... I signed up for the 8 months and was all excited when I got my approval email from you, but now I'm having problems paying for it because the praxis site is all in Chinese characters. I think this may have happened because I'm based in Shanghai now, but my Chinese is nowhere near good enough to decipher it. Is it possible to have that link sent me in English?

John B.

Thank you for your reply. I always (get emotional) when somebody does answer me, this probably as a reflection of the great deal of trouble that I have in getting through to the Chinese department of a local college.

I will not be available for the next two weeks but will, after that, follow-up on your suggestion. As I mentioned to you above, I have to find way to regain some momentum.

Best Regards, Paul J.

To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you for your latest info and offer. Some points:
1) Since I am not a (college/university) student and have no intention of placing myself in such a precarious position again, I do not (seem to) qualify for your offer.
2) Just what does this offer provide? Text, audio? I have great trouble understanding spoken Manderin (news, etc.)and could use help in that.
3) I would be more than willing to sign up for some or all of your programs if I can have a better understanding just what these programs will do for me. I have been studying Mandarin for a long time and with great pleasure but seem at this time to be stuck in the eye of the hurricane, making little or no progress. Thank you for your help.
