Gearing up for the Olympics!

ChinesePod Olympics logo

Were you planning to attend the Olympics next year but were afraid that you’d get lost in the sea of people? Were you secretly panic-stricken by the thought that no one’s there to guide you as you trek your way through the Olympic village or, at the very least, tell you where the nearest vending machine is? Well, here’s where ChinesePod comes to the rescue!

As you gear up for the Olympics, ChinesePod is right there with you. When you sign up for a 240 USD subscription from today until August 8, you will receive a 4 30-minute free counseling sessions with one of our Practice plan counselors (that’s 1 session for every 3 months). They will help you plan out your study schedule for the year and check up on your progress right up until that Olympic flame is lit!

Also, if that’s not enough, we’re shipping you a specially-made 100+ ChinesePod Olympic flashcards box set too that you can bring along on your trip to China. The flashcards come complete with Characters, Pinyin and English translations that can easily fit in your pocket. So, if you ever forget to pronounce a word or remember a Chinese character’s meaning, you can just take out those flashcards in your pocket and *viola*… instant answer!

Awesome promotion. I’m hoping to come to China next summer and see some of the Olympics and visit some friends. Plus, I’ve been anxious to try out the “Practice” plan. I’ve always got a stack of flashcards in my pocket too, so this is the perfect plan for me. Thank you Chinesepod!

Where can we make suggestions about lessons? I would like to hear a lesson on cooking with a Microwave … the Cooking Wings lesson was not enough!

I just signed up a week ago or so- any way I could qualify for this? I’m moving to China August 29th and am hoping to find my way to Beijing for the games. This would definitely make my day!

I’ll write an e-mail to Chinesepod as well, just registered for the one year Premium a few days ago, too !
Anyway, no regrets for signing up, but yes, would love the “Gearing up ..” package as well ….

    Hi friends,
Does this apply to renewal? My first year expires in December. Can I extend my subscription a year and qualify? It will take at least another year to get enough of Ken and Jen. They are the best at encouraging me to perfect my Chinese. Thanks.

    Hi John,

You still qualify for the Promo even if you just upgraded. :-)

Will there be new promotions in the near future? This one was really good, and it’s too bad I missed it… There was also another one where a friend got a free 6-month premium subscription, but I guess that has also ended. Looking forward to the next ones!

    Hi Nikola,

To be honest, there is nothing currently lined up. But watch this blog space in the future for more promotions. :-)
