We have started to notice a number of bloggers writing about their experiences learning Chinese and using ChinesePod. We feel that this information is quite valuable and have been trying to find ways to bring this knowledge back into the community as a whole.
So, we have added the ability for subscribers to link RSS feeds to their account and share content they generate with other ChinesePod users. If you have a weblog simply add the RSS feed URL in “Your Account” - “Community Feeds” and all your future posts that contain the keywords [chinesepod] or [chinese] will show up under the “Community” menu tag. This function is RSS-based so feel free to add other related content you might create as well ( e.g. Blog, Flick photo stream).
As always, please let us know your feedback.
Kind Regards,
ChinesePod Tech Team

I’ve tried to add my blog feed to the community feed but it doesn’t seem to work. Being a bit new to blogging I’m not sure exactly what the feed is - I’ve tried both http://pienews.blogs.com/mandarin/atom.xml and feed://pienews.blogs.com/mandarin/atom.xml - either way nothing seems to appear in the Community feed list. Any ideas from anyone more familiar with this kind of thing?
I’ve added the RSS feed for the forum, I hope that’s ok?
Mark,
Excellent questions. We will need to clarify the instructions we have written. Your “…atom.xml” URL is the RSS feed. Only new posts will be added to the Community section. Your previous posts will not so up. Also, only those posts that mention Chinese or ChinesePod will be included. Hope that helps clarify things a little.
Team ChinesePod
I’ve decided to remove the Forum feed as it’s just drowning everything else.
Thanks, Bazza and Matt.
Just got back from Holiday and had a look at this, great stuff found some good new resources already from blogs that are attached to this and I had never found before.
