To help make downloading the archives a little quicker we have started to put up BitTorrent file links to help support P2P downloading (basically the more people who download the archived file the quicker the download is).
In the future these will be in the Podcast Archive submenu.
If you are new to torrent files, we would suggest first downloading and installing one of the following programs to manage the download:
BitComet (for Windows users)
http://www.bitcomet.com/
Azureus (for Mac & Windows users)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/azureus/
Don’t forget to keep seeding after you complete the download to help everyone else out as well.
Hank.

Perfect guys, thanks a lot!
You guys are so on the bleeding-edge I have to wrap my fingers in gauze when I type.
BTW, is the second set 100-120 seeded right, it’s not downloading on my end. Looks like we have three peers looking for an acorn.
Just a heads up, I used bittorrent to download the lessons and discovered after listening to a bunch that some of the lessons were short (e.g. 2 minutes rather than 16). Then I searched through the downloaded lesson files looking for any that seemed obviously short and found maybe 10-12 that I needed to redownload individually. Don’t know whether the problem was my machine, one of the peers or bittorrent, but thought I’d let you know just in case.
Cheers, Tom
Thanks Tom. I’ve just tested the bittorents and they all seem to be normal length here. Except of course the news and WOS, etc. If anyone else is experiencing these same problems please let me know here or by email (chinesepod@gmail.com) and let me know which torrent files you are having trouble with and I’ll look deeper into the situation.
Can a torrent of the Jpod lessons be put out there?
Good idea! I’ll bring it up in the next meeting. Can’t see why that would be a problem.
? can’t reach the torrent files ?
host seems to be blocked

Hi Nick,
The torrent files can be a little fickle. Try our RSS feeds, that works better.
Will the torrent for 301-400 be released?
